Going to doctors appointments

In my experience, most doctors are hearing about menstrual cycle awareness for the first time as much as we are. My doctor had never heard of PMDD until I mentioned it to her. Women's health hasn't been much a priority until recently.

Do consider talking a companion with you to appointments. This could be

• Your MCA journal - 3 months of cycle tracking is good evidence

• A friend who you know well and trust

• A companion like me who can advocate for you
